Manila, Oct. 23 -- State-run Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) said it extended PHP3.2 million in financial assistance and PHP3.1 million worth of relief packs to support earthquake-affected families in Davao Oriental and Cebu.

In a social media post, the bank said Finance Secretary and LandBank Chairman Ralph Recto, together with President and CEO Lynette Ortiz, led the relief operations in Davao Oriental and Cebu on Thursday, ensuring that assistance reached those who needed it most.

In Davao Oriental, PHP500,000 was turned over to the provincial government, and PHP200,000 each to the City of Mati and Municipality of Manay.
