Manila, July 23 -- Tropical Depression (TD) Kiyapo maintained its strength, but slightly accelerated, moving northwestward at 25 kph, the weather bureau said Thursday.

Kiyapo packs maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center, and gustiness of up to 55 kph, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

It was located 830 km east of Northern Luzon as of 10 a.m.
