ITCZ, 'habagat' to bring rains over parts of PH
Manila, June 27 -- The southwest monsoon or "habagat" and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) are forecast to bring rains over several parts of the country, the weather bureau said Saturday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, La Union, Pangasinan, Batanes, the Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Antique, Iloilo, and Guimaras.
Meanwhile, the same weather conditions will prevail over Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region due to the ITCZ.
