Manila, Oct. 27 -- A member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (City Council) here is seeking clarification from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) about the basis granting 100 units of the blue taxi to operate in Iloilo City.

"We really wanted to know how they determined that there is a need for additional units in the City of Iloilo. That particular need or demand would have been the basis for them to issue, to open unit applications for franchise," Sedfrey Cabaluna said in a media interview on Monday.
