Manila, Sept. 24 -- The province and Iloilo City are among the finalists for the 2026 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit (LGU) Award of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).

Iloilo City is one of five finalists in the City Level 1B Category, which covers highly urbanized cities outside Metro Manila, while the provincial government is among the five finalists in the provincial category.

Led by Mayor Raisa Trenas, the city government presented its efforts to streamline business transactions, expand digital services, support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and attract investments during the final judging Wednesday at the PCCI office in Taguig City.
