Manila, Oct. 24 -- The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) on Friday said it would not be deaf to public clamor for accountability and the campaign against corruption.

"The ICI hears and understands the public's call for accountability and justice. The Commission is one with them against corruption. The Commission remains committed to fulfill its mandate of gathering evidence and testimonies related to anomalous flood control and other infrastructure projects in the country," the body said in a statement following a protest held at its compound in Taguig City.
