Manila, Feb. 27 -- The government is continuing its efforts to track down fugitives involved in anomalous flood control projects, including former lawmaker Zaldy Co, Malacanang said on Friday.

Speaking to reporters, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the Department of the Interior and Local Government is coordinating with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) to trace Co's movement.

Castro urged the public to remain patient as multiple agencies, including Interpol, are involved in the search.
