DUMAGUETE CITY, June 11 -- Hundreds of individuals have availed of various goods and services provided by the Department of Health (DOH) in the Negros Island Region (NIR) during Thursday's "PuroKalyeSugan" caravan in this capital.

The activity marked the second anniversary of the DOH in the NIR following the latter's creation as a separate region, said Deab Eltanal, Chief, Local Health Support Division of the DOH-NIR Center for Health Development.

Eltanal told the Philippine News Agency in an interview that this activity is done in coordination with the Dumaguete City government, the provincial government through the Provincial Health Office, and other government agencies and stakeholders.
