Manila, Aug. 18 -- The House of Representatives on Tuesday cancelled its plenary session scheduled for the day, but retained its work-from-home arrangement and the online conduct of Committee meetings.

House Secretary General Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil announced the arrangements in an early advisory issued by authority of House Speaker Faustino "Bojie" Dy III.

"In view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions, please be informed that the Plenary Session scheduled today, 18 August 2026, is hereby CANCELLED," the advisory said.
