Manila, June 19 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered the swift and effective implementation of an investment package aimed at positioning the Philippines as a "semiconductor and AI (artificial intelligence) hub" in Asia, Malacanang said on Friday.

During a visit to Texas Instruments facility in Clark, Pampanga, Executive Secretary Ralph Recto relayed Marcos' directive to prioritize projects and incentives designed to attract more investments in high-value industries.
