LEGAZPI CITY, July 10 -- A total of PHP29 million in funding from the Department of Energy's (DOE) Energy Regulations (ER) 1-94 program, through First Gen-owned Energy Development Corporation (EDC), will enhance power reliability in Manito, Albay.

The project involves converting the existing single-phase line to a three-phase power system covering the grid from Barangay Cawayan to Barangay It-Ba, a strategic investment to meet Manito's growing power demand.

Upgrading to a three-phase line is essential for the municipality because it provides a significantly more stable, balanced, and efficient energy supply compared to the previous configuration.
