Manila, Sept. 21 -- Speaker Faustino "Bojie" Dy on Monday vowed to continue the projects and causes championed by late Quirino Governor Dakila Carlo "Dax" Cua, whom he described as a devoted public servant and advocate of local government.

Speaking at Cua's necrological service at the House of Representatives, Dy said the late governor consistently put the needs of Quirino residents ahead of his own.

"Kaya Dax, saan ka man naroroon ngayon, gusto kong malaman mo na narinig ko ang iyong hiling.
