MANILA, Oct. 3 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) continued its round-the-clock relief operations for families affected by the magnitude 6.9 tremor that struck Cebu on Sept. 30, with all its disaster response vehicles on the ground bringing hot meals and potable water to families in Bogo City.

The DSWD mobile kitchen provided hot meals to affected families, while water tankers and water filtration trucks ensured clean and potable water is available to Cebuanos.

The DSWD mobile command center is also stationed in epicenter Bogo City to ramp up communication and response efforts as electricity remained unstable scarce.
