Manila, April 16 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) joined President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday in extending assistance to repatriated overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) affected by the Middle East crisis in Tacloban City, Leyte to provide them with livelihood opportunities as they start anew in their hometowns.
Dubbed "Bayanihan para sa Balikbayang Manggagawa: A National Reintegration Network (NRN) Regional Fair," the activity aims to make various government programs and services accessible to the repatriated OFWs as part of the Marcos Administration's call for a whole-of-government approach for the sector.
