Manila, March 31 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has joined forces with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and local government units (LGUs) in the National Capital Region (NCR) to consolidate and validate the list of public utility jeepney (PUJ) drivers eligible for the DSWD's cash relief assistance (CRA).

This follows the earlier pronouncement of DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian to thoroughly review all records and account for those public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers who were initially left out in the PHP5,000 CRA beneficiary list.
