Manila, March 18 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is working with local government units (LGUs) to resolve problems involving infrastructure projects.

In a statement, DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon said they would ensure that the funds allocated for projects go to the community.

The collaboration is in response to the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to partner with LGUs to resolve issues on infra projects in communities.

"We really need to work with the mayors because mayors are the ones who know what the problems are. So, we are really going around, the President ordered us to talk to all the mayors," he said in a statement.
