Manila, March 31 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started repairs of several roads in Metro Manila, taking advantage of the Holy Week break.

In a social media post, the DPWH-National Capital Region (NCR) said repairs have started in Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, Manila, Pasig, Valenzuela and Quezon City.

The scheduled road repairs began March 30 and are expected to continue until April 6, 2026.

The rehabilitation works to be conducted are asphalt overlaying, sidewalk improvement, expansion joint, painting of concrete railing, waterproofing, contraction of bridge and link slab, among other repairs to ensure the safety of motorists on roads.
