ILOILO CITY, June 11 -- The Department of Labor and Employment in Western Visayas (DOLE-6) will expand the implementation of its TUPAD: Tuloy Pasada Program to 21 routes in Iloilo City.

In an interview on Thursday, DOLE-6 Assistant Regional Director Melisa Navarra said the Tuloy Pasada, implemented under the government's Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food and Transport (UPLIFT), initially covered 115 drivers and passenger assistant officers for transport cooperatives plying the Tagbak-Buntatala-JM Basa St., Iloilo City route.

"We have the second phase. The second phase would cover 21 routes within Iloilo City. Initially, per the conduct of orientation, there are around 959 covered beneficiaries," she said.
