Manila, Jan. 19 -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Monday reported that the number of job fair activities nationwide continues to increase.
In a social media post, DOLE-Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) Director Patrick Patriwirawan Jr. said the number of employment fairs soared to 2,356 in 2025, from 1,900 in 2024 and 1,600 in 2023.
"Last year, 83,000 were hired on the spot, proof of DOLE's continuous delivery of job opportunities," he said.
Earlier, the DOLE reported that over 529,000 jobseekers participated in job fairs across the country.
