MANILA, Oct. 3 -- The Department of Health (DOH) has raised a Code White alert even before Typhoon Paolo made landfall in Dinapigue, Isabela on Friday morning.
In a public advisory, the DOH Central Office said the alert was activated as early as Wednesday to ensure offices in regions that are affected can respond to health emergencies.
Under the alert, the DOH Operations Center has mobilized essential medicines, medical equipment, and Health Emergency Response Teams.
At the regional level, DOH offices in Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon confirmed readiness to respond to the storm's impact, particularly in northern Aurora and Isabela.
