Manila, Nov. 3 -- The Department of Energy (DOE) on Friday night said it has delivered earlier in the day the check to AmiananPH, the provider of the artisan gifts presented to delegates, guests and partners who attended the ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting from Oct. 5 to 9.

This, after AmiananPH claimed in a social media post that the payment of DOE and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for the ASEAN-related souvenirs are delayed.

"Today, 30 October 2026, the DOE completed the processing of the payment and delivered the check to the supplier, ahead of the 30-working-day processing period stipulated in the Terms of Reference." the agency said in a statement.
