Manila, May 1 -- The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has stepped up its employment and reintegration efforts for returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) through a nationwide job fair to be held during the Labor Day celebration on Friday.
In an interview in Pasay City on Thursday, Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said thousands of job opportunities across multiple sectors are available to displaced and repatriated OFWs seeking new employment.
"For the DMW, of course, meron tayo sa (we have at the Robinsons) Galleria. Around 3,451 job orders across healthcare, medical, engineering, technical trades, construction, manufacturing ang iaalok natin (will be offered)," he said.
