CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Oct. 6 -- The Department of the Interior and Local Government in Northern Mindanao (DILG-10) reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Gender and Development (GAD) in the region on Monday.

During the on-site visit for the GAD Seal Program, Debie Torres, director of DILG-10's Bureau of Local Government Supervision, said the goal of GAD initiatives is to promote ongoing commitment and collaboration among DILG offices in advancing gender equality and establishing inclusive governance practices.

"The GAD Seal is not just a recognition, but a call to sustain and strengthen efforts to ensure that no one is left behind," she said.
