Manila, Feb. 13 -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) launched three major cybersecurity initiatives toward a proactive, instead of reactive, approach in cybersecurity.
In a news release on Friday, DICT Cybersecurity Undersecretary Julius Gorospe announced the three initiatives: Bug Bounty Program, DICT Trusted Assessment Provider (D-TAP) framework and Cybersecurity Posture Assessment Laboratory (CPAL).
The projects will strengthen the government's cybersecurity toolkit by embedding security into systems before vulnerabilities can be exploited, he said.
