Manila, Aug. 15 -- The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) on Saturday pledged to sustain the momentum in providing decent and affordable housing units under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH).

DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling made the vow as he welcomed the "good" +48 rating earned by the Marcos administration in the recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey for implementing housing programs for the poor.

In a statement, Aliling said the high score, a three-point increase from the previous SWS survey, shows that the government is on the right track in implementing the expanded 4PH.
