Manila, Oct. 7 -- The Department of Housing Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) said it will start distributing housing aid to over 6,700 beneficiaries whose houses were damaged by different calamities.
"We will start to release the financial assistance for those whose houses were recorded to be totally damaged or incurred partial damage," Antonette Anaban, regional director of the DHSUD-CAR, said in an interview on Tuesday.
Data shows 32 beneficiaries whose houses were totally damaged by fire will receive PHP30,000, while nine with partially-damaged houses also due to fire, will receive PHP10,000. The fire incidents occurred in Tineg, Abra; Tuba, Benguet and Sabangan Mountain Province....
