MANILA, Oct. 12 -- Heeding President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s call for all government agencies to aid victims of the two powerful earthquakes that struck Davao Oriental province on Oct. 10, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) is ready to send modular shelter units (MSUs) to the province.

DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling already mobilized a team from the Central Office and Regional Office 11 to determine the exact assistance needed by affected local government units (LGUs) in Davao Oriental, in close coordination with other government agencies and non-government organizations, according to a news release Sunday.
