Manila, Sept. 2 -- The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) has ordered its regional and central offices to resolve pending complaints from homebuyers and homeowners' associations within 30 days.

DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling issued the directive Wednesday after the department reported clearing its backlog of regulatory applications.

"Hindi dapat tumatagal ang concerns at complaints na ipinaparating sa atin ng ating mga kababayan, lalo na ang mga homebuyers na dugo't pawis ang ginugol upang makapagpundar ng sariling tahanan," Aliling said.
