DFA suspends consular services in NCR, nearby offices amid heavy rains
Manila, Aug. 17 -- The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) suspended face-to-face consular operations at 1 p.m. Monday due to heavy southwest monsoon rains, pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 127, series of 2026, issued by the Office of the President.
In a social media post, the DFA said the suspension covers its Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) at Aseana, DoubleDragon Releasing Units, and the consular offices in the NCR North, NCR South, NCR Northeast, NCR West, Malolos, and Pampanga.
Applicants with emergency or urgent consular concerns may contact the DFA through its designated channels.
