India, March 3 -- The Department of Education (DepEd) on Tuesday partnered with the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) to empower public school heads and officials through leadership training.
The DepEd signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the two parties to launch the "EdLead 360: Public Education Leadership Lab" initiative through the agency's National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP).
In a statement, DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara said capacitating teachers alongside continuous development in public schools will strengthen the country's education sector.
