Manila, July 3 -- The first day of the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte will focus first on resolving motions, with presentation of evidence to begin likely on the second day of proceedings, Manila Rep. Joel Chua said Friday.

"Unang una, ine-expect natin 'yung mga motion namin magkaroon ng ruling. Tapos at least 'yung presiding officer malaman na rin natin kung sino talaga, ma-settle na natin.
