Manila, Oct. 27 -- The Davao del Norte provincial government took pride on Monday, as its governor was appointed as the new Regional Development Council (RDC) 11 (Davao Region) head.

The jubilation followed President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s appointment of Governor Edwin Jubahib as chairperson of the RDC-11 for the 2025-2028 term on Oct. 24.

In its official Facebook page, the RDC-11 congratulated Jubahib and welcomed his appointment.

"Your leadership marks a new chapter in advancing inclusive and sustainable development across the Davao Region," the Council said.

The RDC-11 is the top policy-making body at the regional level, responsible for coordinating and guiding all socio-economic development efforts.
