Manila, Oct. 19 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has ordered the immediate temporary closure of the Bukidnon-Davao City (BuDa) Road in Barangay Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon after a portion collapsed Saturday night.

In a statement Sunday, the DPWH said teams have been mobilized to assess the damaged road.

Motorists can take the following alternate routes:

From Cagayan de Oro City to Tagum City: Junction Sayre Highway Poblacion Valencia City, Bukidnon via Kapalong - Talaingod - Valencia Road;

From Camp 1 Maramag, Bukidnon to Davao City: Via Jct. Bukidnon- Davao City Road to Cotabato Boundary - Carmen-Kabacan-Matalam-Kidapawan, Cotabato-Digos City, Davao
