Manila, April 6 -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has expanded its institutional partnerships to provide Gawad Lingkod Bayani national awardees with enhanced access to medical services and educational opportunities across the country.

In a news release on Monday, the CSC noted that awardees are entitled to free executive checkups within one year from the conferment of their award under the updated incentives package.

The initiative is supported by long-standing medical partners through renewed memoranda of agreement, including the Philippine General Hospital, Philippine Heart Center, National Kidney and Transplant Institute and the Lung Center of the Philippines.
