Manila, April 23 -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has officially prohibited all government officials and employees from engaging in any form of gambling, including online platforms, regardless of whether the activity occurs during or outside office hours.
Under CSC Resolution 2600111, the ban applies to the entire government workforce, emphasizing that public servants must maintain conduct that upholds the principle that "public office is a public trust."
The resolution covers a wide range of prohibited acts, specifically barring government personnel from entering or staying in casinos and other gambling establishments.
