CPD strategy targets to address pregnancy among 10-14 age group
ILOILO CITY, July 30 -- The Commission on Population and Development in Western Visayas (CPD-6) will shift its campaign to the 10-14 age bracket seeking to address increasing adolescent pregnancy in the age group.
CPD Regional Director for Western Visayas Harold Marshall said that in the past, the attention of the program was on the 15-19 age group, where the highest number of adolescent pregnancies was recorded. Hence, the incidents for the age bracket are gradually declining.
He said they only found out that the cases involving the 10-14 age group are gradually increasing.
