Manila, July 25 -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is set to hold the mock polls on Saturday, in preparation for the Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections (BPE) set in October.
Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said the activity will be conducted in several towns of Lanao del Sur and Tawi-Tawi.
"The Comelec is ready, 100 percent, as well as those who will serve as Electoral Boards," he said in a telephone interview on Friday.
The poll body official added that a total of 400 registered voters from eight barangays from four cities and municipalities of Lanao del Sur and Tawi-Tawi, will be participating in Saturday's activities.
