Manila, May 11 -- A week before the deadline of the nationwide voter registration activities, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday reported that it has processed close to 5 million applications for voter registration since it started six months ago.
Based on poll body data, as of May 9, the running total of applications processed is 4,740,551 since the registration resumed in November 2025.
Of the number, female applicants recorded with the highest number at 2,440,297 while male applicants are 2,300,254.
Calabarzon (Region 4-A) still has the most number of applications received with 767,901 (398,751 females and 369,150 males).
