Manila, July 1 -- A 37-year-old US citizen was arrested after authorities intercepted an inbound parcel containing more than 2.3 kilograms of suspected MDMA (ecstasy) worth PHP10.1 million during an interdiction operation at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) along Domestic Road, Pasay City.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said the suspect, alias Olu, an American citizen, appeared at the CMEC as the authorized representative and claimant of the parcel on Tuesday afternoon.
