Manila, Feb. 20 -- Solid North Party-list Rep. Ching Bernos and Abra lone district Rep. JB Bernos are pushing for the passage of a measure creating child advocacy centers (CACs) in all local government units (LGUs) across the country.

House Bill No. 7468, or the "Child Advocacy Centers bill," seeks to establish centers in every city and municipality that will provide dedicated, child-friendly facilities where investigations, medical examinations, psychosocial interventions, legal coordination and case management can be conducted through a unified, trauma-informed process.
