Manila, Feb. 18 -- The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on Wednesday said it is actively aligning ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework (AQRF) with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) following the opening the European Union-Association of Southeast Asian Nations (EU-ASEAN) peer-learning workshop at the Makati Diamond Residences last Feb. 12 to 13.

The event marked the CHED's first activity as the Philippines chairs ASEAN for 2026.

In a statement, CHED Chairperson Shirley Agrupis said the workshop, titled "Aligning Frameworks in a Changing World," demonstrates regional efforts to ensure that alignment goes beyond principle.
