BUTUAN CITY, Dec. 2 -- The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) in Siargao Airport has debunked social media claims of a delayed response to a passenger who collapsed at the Passenger Terminal Building (PTB).
"The claim that no CAAP personnel responded for several minutes is not accurate," the CAAP Siargao said in an official statement on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred last Nov. 29, when a passenger suddenly collapsed at the PTB and sustained a head injury.
It added that an assigned employee immediately helped a person who had first assisted the injured passenger.
