Manila, Sept. 11 -- The Bureau of Customs (BOC) is rolling out dedicated X-ray lanes for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in key international airports as part of its efforts to provide faster, more convenient, and more organized customs processing for returning and departing Filipino workers.

In a news release on Friday, Customs Commissioner Arie Nepomuceno said the initiative is currently being implemented at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 1 and 3 and Clark International Airport in Pampanga, where designated X-ray lanes are made available specifically for OFWs undergoing customs inspection and baggage examination.
