Manila, Aug. 8 -- The government generated nearly PHP33.5 million from the recent negotiated sale of abandoned and forfeited goods, including two luxury cars, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) said Saturday.

In a statement, the BOC said the public auction conducted on July 30 concluded with seven of the 13 sale lots with accepted offers.

The successful sale lots consisted of various seized and forfeited goods, including one 2018 Lexus LX570 (PHP2 million); one 2012 Nissan Murano (PHP115,000); one Hyundai Grand Starex GL (PHP110,000); Premium and Regular Gasoline (PHP200,000); Flat Glass (PHP352,000); and 35 packages of Steel Wire (PHP352,000).
