BOC establishes jet fuel facilities for int'l air transport ops
Manila, Sept. 18 -- The Bureau of Customs (BOC) is establishing bonded facilities for the importation, storage and use of Jet A-1 fuel in support of the country's international aviation sector.
Customs Administrative Order (CAO) No. 03-2026 provides the regulatory framework for the establishment and operation of Bonded Jet A-1 Fuel Facilities (JAFFs), allowing qualified international air transport operators and fuel suppliers to import and store Jet A-1 fuel exclusively for international operations, subject to applicable customs rules and safeguards, according to a news release Friday.
