Manila, Aug. 22 -- De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde defeated Mapua, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21, to kick off its V-League Collegiate Challenge campaign at Gameville Central Park in Mandaluyong City on Saturday.

Opposite hitter Reymark Betco delivered 22 points, including 18 attacks, four blocks and three digs.

Rocky Motol chipped in 14 points while team captain Chris Villanueva anchored the offense with 16 excellent sets for the reigning National Collegiate Athletic Association champion.
