Cotabato City, Jan. 6 -- All police officers stationed at Camp S.K. Pendatun, the home of Police Regional Office - Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte, have undergone a surprise drug test on Monday afternoon.

Brig. Gen. Jaysen de Guzman, police director for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), led the surprise drug test that he ordered for all police officers assigned to the regional police headquarters.

"This initiative reinforces the Philippine National Police's Internal Cleansing Program and affirms PRO-BAR's commitment to maintaining a drug-free, disciplined, and trustworthy police organization," De Guzman said in a statement Tuesday.
