Manila, Feb. 18 -- The city government, through the Health Services Office and the Smoke Free Task Force, continues to increase the number of enforcers of the "smoke-free" ordinance to ensure full compliance.

Dr. Celia Flor Brillantes, city health officer, said in an interview on Wednesday that they are holding continuous orientations in the city's barangays to train officials and volunteers on the proper issuance of citation tickets while random inspections remain active, with at least two night inspections per month and surprise checks to ensure compliance.
