Manila, Sept. 19 -- The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) said Friday that it will deploy around 600 uniformed and plainclothes personnel to secure various activities on Sunday, including anti-corruption rallies.

"There will be additional police personnel who will attend to traffic management, anti-riot operations, plainclothes intelligence monitoring, and other security tasks to ensure peace and order for both participants and the general public," BCPO information officer Maj. Marcy Grace Marron said in a phone interview.

Marron confirmed that a rally permit was granted to Liberal Youth Baguio-Benguet, which will march from the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center grounds to People's Park via Harrison Road.
