BAGUIO CITY, June 10 -- The city government is mulling a PHP50,000 cash gift for couples who reached a 50-year milestone in their marriage.

"With many married couples separating or filing a declaration of nullity of marriage, it is nice to show that there are still a lot of couples who continue to live on with their promises during the marriage ceremony to be together for life," Councilor Leandro Yangot Jr. said in a statement on Wednesday.
